Regulatory uncertainty has surrounded the Affordable Care Act, commonly referred to by both political parties as “Obamacare”, from the moment Congress began drafting the legislation. While the nation’s highest court is expected to announce its ruling on the reform this summer, a partnership between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and UNC Health Care aims to change the way doctors coordinate the care of patients while improving care and reducing healthcare costs.
